INDIANAPOLIS — Police in Indianapolis are investigating after a person was shot and killed Sunday evening on the city's east side.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers and emergency personnel were called around 7:15 p.m. to the 1300 block of North Dearborn Street, near 10th and Rural streets and found a 43-year-old man when they arrived in the front yard who was suffering from at least one gunshot wound, an IMPD officer told RTV6 at the scene.
The man later died, an officer said.

At this time, the identity of the victim has not been released.
Details surrounding the shooting have also not been released.
