INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a person was shot and killed Friday morning on the northeast side of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers and emergency personnel were called around 11:30 a.m. to the 4500 block of North Kitley Avenue on the report of a person shot, IMPD Sgt. Grace Sibley said in an email.
The victim in the shooting, who has not yet been identified, died, Sibley said.
At this time, investigators are still working to find out what led to the shooting.
