INDIANAPOLIS — One person has died after being shot on the north side of Indianapolis Friday night.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the 7700 block of Kenworthy Drive on reports of a person shot just before 8 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot injury inside a vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle the victim was driving struck an apartment building, according to IMPD. The residents inside the apartment were uninjured.
Police do not believe there is any threat to the public.
