Person shot, in critical condition on Indy’s near northwest side

INDIANAPOLIS — One person is in critical condition after being shot on the near northwest side of Indianapolis Thursday afternoon.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the 1100 block of W. 29^th Street on reports of a person shot at around 4:45 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot injury. The victim was reported to be in critical condition.
