INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a man was located Sunday evening in downtown Indianapolis suffering from a gunshot wound, IMPD said.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers and emergency personnel were called around 7 p.m. to East 10th and North Delaware streets on the report of a person shot, IMPD said. When they arrived, they located a victim, who was awake and breathing, suffering from a gunshot wound.
The man told detectives he was stopped at the intersection when two cars were next to him and began shooting, IMPD officers at the scene tell RTV6.
Medical personnel transported the man to the hospital in critical but stable condition, IMPD officers at the scene tell RTV6.
