INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead after being shot on the southeast side of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Southeast District officers responded to the 3300 block of Spring Wind Lane on reports of a person shot at 7:45 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male in the driver's seat of a vehicle parked on the street suffering from a gunshot injury.
IMPD says the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Marion County Coroner's Office will release the victim's name once his family is notified.
