INDIANAPOLIS — A person was shot early Sunday morning on Massachusetts Avenue in downtown Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to investigate the incident around 2:40 a.m. in the 600 block of Massachusetts Avenue, IMPD Officer Aaron Hamer said.
The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition, Hamer said.
The identity of the victim or any possible suspects have not been released.
Additional details surrounding the incident are under investigation by IMPD aggravated assault detectives and have not been released.
