INDIANAPOLIS — A man is facing charges after leading officers on a police chase through multiple counties Thursday morning.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers say the chase started when they tried to stop a man for a traffic violation near 62nd Street and Michigan Road.
When the man took off in his vehicle, officers chased him along 56th Street to Brownsburg, then down S.R. 267 to County Road 100 North in Avon.
A pit maneuver finally stopped the man in Avon.
At this time, there is no word why the man wouldn't stop for police.
