HOLTON, Ind. — A woman's death in rural Ripley County is being investigated as a homicide, police said.
Deputies with the Ripley County Sheriff's Office and Indiana State Police troopers responded after midnight Monday to a home on County Road 700 West north of Holton after they received a report of an unresponsive woman.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene with injuries that indicated foul play, according to state police.
Police have not released the woman's identity and no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
