Police: Two juveniles shot at strip mall on Crawfordsville Road in Speedway

SPEEDWAY — Two juveniles suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting Friday evening at a strip mall in Speedway, according to police.

Speedway Police Department officers were called around 7:40 p.m. to the parking lot of a strip mall in the 5600 block of Crawfordsville Road on the report of shots fired, SPD Lt. Jim Thiele said in an email. Officers found a boy who was shot when they arrived.

Another juvenile who was shot during the same incident was later found in the 1000 block of Main Street, Thiele said. They were both taken to local hospitals for treatment.

Additional information, including their identities, hasn't been released.
