BLOOMINGTON — An emergency alert was issued after police received third-hand information early Sunday morning of a rape and aggravated assault outside of Eigenmann Hall.
The survivor was allegedly struck in the head then sexually assaulted around 8 p.m. Saturday, according to an emergency update.
Indiana University Police Department - Bloomington officers issued the emergency alert around 1:45 a.m. Sunday, telling people to stay away from the area.

Around 2:20 a.m., police said there was no longer a threat and officers were continuing to investigate.
