INDIANAPOLIS — Seven people, who are alleged robbery suspects, were taken into custody and are being questioned after a pursuit Sunday evening on the south side of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers began the pursuit around 5:30 p.m. Sunday after a person recognized the suspects in connection with a recent robbery, IMPD Officer Aaron Hamer said. The suspects were taken into custody after the pursuit ended near Bluff and Wicker roads.
At least seven people were taken into custody and are being questions by detectives, Hamer said. Another possible suspect is still being sought by police.
At this time, the identities of the suspects have not been released.
