INDIANAPOLIS — A man died in a shooting near 38th Street and Post Road on the east side of Indianapolis Tuesday afternoon.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the 3600 block of North Post Road on reports of a person shot just before 3 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot injury. The victim, identified as 28-year-old Joshua Nehemiah Jones, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to a police report, a 32-year-old man was arrested for their involvement in the shooting.
