Shooting on Indy's near southeast side leaves one critical

INDIANAPOLIS — A person is in critical condition after a shooting on the near southeast side of Indianapolis Sunday morning, according to IMPD.

Officers responded to 1612 Harlan Street just before 4:00 a.m. Sunday morning.

They found a female victim with who had been shot. The person is now in critical condition.

After investigation police were able to locate a suspect. The 24-year-old adult male has been charged with attempted murder for his alleged role in the incident.

The investigation is still active and ongoing.
