INDIANAPOLIS — One person is in critical condition after they were shot Sunday afternoon in Indianapolis, according to police.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to investigate the incident around 4:30 p.m. to the 3300 block of Arsenal Avenue, near East 33rd Street and Dr. Andrew J. Brown Avenue.
When they arrived, they found a person who was suffering from at least one apparent gunshot wound, IMPD Officer Samone Burris said in an email. They are in critical condition.
Additional details haven't been released.
The latest shooting in Indianapolis comes after several shootings early Sunday morning.
