INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was shot and wounded late Tuesday afternoon while in his vehicle on the Indianapolis east side.
The victim managed to get himself to a city fire station at East 30th Street and Doctor Andrew J. Brown Drive. From there, he was rushed to a local hospital.
A public information officer for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the victim was in stable condition. The front and back driver's side windows of his vehicle was shot out.
Information on what led up to the shooting has not been released by IMPD.
