Two people shot in Marion County found in Plainfield

PLAINFIELD — Two people are in critical condition after they were shot in Marion County and found in Plainfield early Saturday morning.

Plainfield Police Department officers were called around midnight after two people were found in their town suffering from gunshot wounds, IMPD Officer Genae Cook said in an email.

Detectives later determined both victims were shot in a domestic incident somewhere in Marion County, Cook said. Authorities are still working to find out the exact location of where the incident occurred.

At this time, the identities of the victims or any possible suspects have not been released.
