MARION — Two people were injured, one critically, after an argument led to a stabbing Thursday morning in Marion, according to police.
Detectives believe an argument between the two led to each of them being stabbed around 4 a.m. in the 2900 block of South Home Avenue, Marion Police Department Capt. Stephen Dorsey said in a press release.
A 28-year-old, of Marion, was taken to a local hospital with multiple stab wounds, Dorsey said. They were treated and later released. A 33-year-old, also of Marion, was flown to a hospital in Fort Wayne with multiple stab wounds and is in critical condition.
Officers found a 51-year-old, of Marion, inside the basement of the home when they were searching it, Dorsey said. They were arrested on probation violation warrants and were taken to the Grant County Jail.
