INDIANAPOLIS — Two teenagers were hospitalized after a shooting on the east side of Indianapolis Wednesday morning.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police officers on the scene told WRTV the victims drove up to a patrol car near East 10th Street and Linwood Avenue around 1:15 a.m. with gunshot wounds.
The boys, 15 and 18, were taken to the hospital. The 15-year-old was reportedly in critical condition.
According to IMPD, the victims would not say where the incident occurred. Detectives believe it happened a couple of blocks away near Michigan and Linwood Avenue.
In eight hours, at least six people were shot in Indianapolis from late Tuesday night to early Wednesday morning. The shooting death of one man around 5 p.m. Tuesday was the first to in the series of shooting investigations by IMPD.
