MORGAN COUNTY — Investigators have released the name of a woman who was found dead early Friday morning near a boat ramp in Martinsville.
The Morgan County Sheriff's Office said in a news release the woman was identified as Meredith Ellen Miller, 28, of Morgantown. The sheriff's office said Wednesday an autopsy determined Miller's death was not a homicide and toxicology results are pending.
A sheriff's deputy found Miller at 1:30 a.m. Friday near the Henderson Ford Boat Ramp. Police asked for help identifying her and released a photo of a rose tattoo on the inside of her forearm.
