INDIANAPOLIS — A young woman was found dead outside an apartment complex on Indianapolis' southeast side early Monday morning.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called around 7 a.m. to the Sawmill Apartments on Lickridge Court for a report of a woman's body in the grass near the playground area of the complex.
Arriving officers found a young woman who had suffered severe trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police do not have any suspects at this time. They are currently speaking with apartment residents to see if anyone witnessed anything suspicious overnight or early this morning.
