ZIONSVILLE — A substitute teacher with the Zionsville Community School Corporation has been arrested after he allegedly had sexual conduct with a student, police said Friday.
Shawn Martin II, 26, is charged with two counts of felony child seduction, according to a news release from the Boone County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office received information about the case involving Martin II and a female student in early November after the Zionsville Community School Corporation reported the incident to the Indiana Department of Child Services, the release said.
The incident allegedly took place off school property, the release said. Police did not say when it happened.
A pretrial conference is scheduled for Martin II on Feb. 10, with a jury trial set to begin April 12, according to court records.
