Indianapolis man killed in crash with tanker-trailer near Greensburg

GREENSBURG — An Indianapolis man was killed Saturday morning after crashing into the back of a tanker-trailer near Greensburg, according to state police.

Kevin Porter II, 37, of Indianapolis, was driving a box truck when he crashed into a tanker-trailer around 11:25 a.m. on Interstate 74, ISP Sgt. Stephen Wheeles, said in a press release.

Traffic was slow in the area due to two other crashes, Wheeles said.

The driver of the tanker-trailer, a 41-year-old, of Seymour, suffered minor injuries, Wheeles said.

Troopers are still investigating the crash and results from toxicology tests are pending.
