MUNCIE — Firefighters are still battling a large business fire in Muncie several hours after it was initially reported Friday.
The Muncie Fire Department was called to the business fire around 10:40 a.m. in the 3800 block of West Kilgore Avenue, according to Delaware County emergency dispatchers. Multiple calls came into the dispatch center to report the fire.
The fire is at an auto service and maintenance business.
Several other fire departments in Delaware County responded to the scene with tankers and pumpers to assist Muncie firefighters with getting water to the scene, according to emergency dispatchers.
