Don Pablo's files for bankruptcy, closes Indy, Carmel locations

Posted

INDIANAPOLIS -- Four Don Pablo’s locations in the Indianapolis and Carmel areas have closed and according to The Wall Street Journal, the restaurant filed for bankruptcy Tuesday.

It is reported the reason for the filing is due to the increased competition from “fast casual” Mexican brands and a decreased interest in causal dining.

The restaurant’s website lists only its Lafayette location as open for business.

Google Maps show four “permanently closed” locations at:

·         Greyhound Plaza

·         Clearwater Crossings Shopping Center

·         Greenwood Point

·         Old Trails Road

The Tex-mex chain serves up classic dishes, margaritas and desserts and more.
