INDIANAPOLIS — The employees at Orange Theory Fitness in downtown Indianpolis say the pride themselves in knowing all their members names.

One member in particular stands out. His name is Scott Pratt, and he's the reason classes will be full this weekend.

"He's been with us for two-and-a-half years. He and his wife are charter members," said Alexa Zeller of Orange Theory Fitness. "We've been able to follow as a community and fight with him during his battle with sarcoma cancer."

Pratt is taking part in clinical treatment research right now, and he still manages to work out at the studio.

So the fundraiser for cancer research is called "Splatt for Pratt." "We do coach to five heart zones, said Zeller. "The high rates of those zones are the orange and red one. One minute in the orange and red equals one splat point." That's where "Splatt for Pratt," comes from.

There is a fee to get in on the workout, but it's not to help pay the Pratt's medical bills. It's about raising money for sarcoma can research.

"Especially now going through what we are going through in 2020, we really just want to bring the community together." said Zeller.

Orange Theory Fitness is at 91 North New Jersey Street, downtown. Here's a link to their website:
