WHITELAND — The photos from the Whiteland Fire Department tell the story better than words can.
A semi on fire Thursday afternoon on the southbound ramp from Whiteland Road to Interstate-65 in Johnson County.
When firefighters arrived, the truck was engulfed in flames, working their way back from the cab.
Whiteland was joined by other area fire departments. It took about one hour to extinguish the blaze.
There were no reports of injuries and no word on what caused the fire.
