FRANKLIN, Ind. -- A Franklin teen who received a special graduation ceremony last month has died of cancer.

Kaleb Buck was diagnosed with bone cancer in 2011.

In March, though Buck was still one semester short of earning his diploma from Franklin Community High School, his friends orchestrated a special graduation ceremony for him.

Before he died, Buck told RTV6's Rafael Sanchez that he found strength in the Bible – particularly his favorite verse, Philippians 4:13.

"It says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Anytime I get down or anything that's what I think of. It gets my mind off everything. I'm not alone doing it. I have faith. I have Christ with me," he said.

Details on memorial services were not yet made public.
