INDIANAPOLIS -- Bargain shoppers have a new place to find second-hand designer duds.
Goodwill opened its Vintage Vogue boutique Thursday morning in Fountain Square.
It’s the second Indianapolis and third overall location, following stores near Glendale and Bloomington.
Vintage Vogue is not a typical Goodwill store. It’s much smaller and features clothing items and housewares that are handpicked from select Goodwill locations.
“We are delighted to join the Fountain Square community and hope area residents take advantage of the unique finds that Vintage Vogue offers,” said Eric Schlegel, vice president of retail operations at Goodwill. “As with all of our of stores, Vintage Vogue supports jobs and services that help Hoosiers become more economically self-sufficient and live happier, healthier lives.”
Around 50 people lined up at the door to the new boutique when it first opened at 9 a.m.
Officials say Vintage Vogue will follow the same weekly and monthly sale promotions as other Goodwill stores, and new items will be added daily.
Vintage Vogue is located at 1056 Virginia Avenue in Fountain Square.
