MARION, Ind. — A staff member at Marion High School has been fired after a video taken at the school shows him pushing two people to the ground who were fighting.
The statement said the school became aware of the video on Friday.

Friday evening, Marion Community Schools became aware of inappropriate conduct of a high school staff member, and our administrators immediately addressed the issue. The person involved is no longer employed by MCS. At Marion Community Schools, we are committed to a safe, orderly, and healthy learning environment for all students and stakeholders. Our intent is to create and perpetuate a student-friendly, student-centered culture, that prepares our students to become the best they can be in lifelong service to others. We cannot comment further on specific personnel matters or investigations.
