INDIANAPOLIS — A Marion Police Department officer has been fired after an investigation into alleged racist posts to his Facebook page.
According to Chief Angela Haley the department was alerted to the posts on June 6 — one day after Chaz Foy was sworn into the police department, according to a Facebook post.
After a review of the posts, Haley determined the actions were "not in keeping with the standards of the Marion Police Department".
