GREENWOOD, Ind. -- The Greenwood Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a robbery suspect.
According to a press release from the Greenwood Police Department released Wednesday, officers responded to the Greenwood Discount Tobacco on December 29, 2015 around 6:00 p.m. on a report of an armed robbery.
Witnesses said a white man entered the store, pointed a black revolver at the clerk and demanded money. The man was described as tall, skinny, and in his mid 20s. Witnesses said he was wearing a black hooded jacket and dark colored pants. His face was hidden, but police were told the man had short, light colored hair, a light colored mustache and thin rimmed glasses.
The clerk handed the suspect money. The suspect put the money in a gray plastic bag and ran south from the store.
