GREENWOOD, Ind. -- A Greenwood woman who plotted to kill her husband in March 2015 was sentenced to 50 years in prison on Friday.

When Opal Williams gets out of prison, she will also have to serve five years on probation. She will also have to go through mental evaluation and substance abuse treatment.

Williams, her boyfriend and his cousin are accused of stabbing her husband, Steven Williams, to death.

Opal Williams reported her husband was missing to Johnson County authorities on March 14, five days before his body was found.
