WESTFIELD—Westfield police arrested a Hamilton County corrections officer for suspected drunk driving, early Friday.

Rachel Bentley is also a reserve officer with the Arcadia Police Department in northern Hamilton County.

Specifics surrounding the arrest were not immediately available.

Bentley faces charges of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.

Captain Mark Bowen of the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department confirmed Bentley is a sergeant at the county jail in Noblesville and has worked there for ten years.

Bowen says Bentley was put on paid administrative leave while an internal investigation takes place.

She has also been placed on leave by the Arcadia Police Department where she has been an unpaid reserve officer for about four years, according to Marshal Todd Uhrick.
