CARMEL — Police in Carmel are investigating after three unknown suspects restrained and assaulted a pharmacist at a Walgreens store early Saturday.
It happened around 2:45 a.m. Sunday at the Walgreens Pharmacy, 1424 South Range Line Road, according to a report from Carmel police.
Officers said three suspects physically restrained and battered the pharmacist before taking medication and an undetermined amount of cash.
The pharmacist was taken to an area hospital for treatment, police said.
All of the suspects were wearing masks. One suspect had a handgun, police said.
