CARMEL, Ind. -- After Danielle Bohm almost lost her son chase in a near-drowning incident at a pool, she's trying to make sure other families don't lose their children to drownings.
"My husband didn't hear him fall in the water," Bohm said. "It's not like the movies. ... He didn't scream or anything. .. He just sank to the bottom of the pool."
Bohm has started "Chase's Challenge," trying to get parents CPR certified.
In June, she held her first event with SMRT Indiana, and now 50 people are CPR certified.
