FISHERS — A major development project received the greenlight from Fishers City Council on Monday.
The council voted to approve plans for the Nickel Plate area. The $157 million project will include a high-end boutique hotel, apartments and townhomes, retail space and a six-story office building.
The project is planned along a portion of 116th Street.
Browning Investments is leading the way on the development. Construction could begin in the spring.
The project has a tentative completion date of 2021.
