FISHERS—Vietnam War veterans and their families were honored at a ceremony in Fishers, Friday.
It was part of National Vietnam War Veterans Day and featured a lapel pin presentation.
Speakers included retired U.S. Navy Commander El Ahlwardt and Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness.
Fishers is a partner of the Vietnam War Commemoration.
The program began in 2012 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War, and to thank and honor Vietnam veterans.
