Drivers frustrated over Fishers traffic signals

Posted

FISHERS, Ind. -- Drivers in Fishers say they’re frustrated because they have to wait at a certain light along 116th Street for a very long time before being able to make a left turn -  and they’re asking the city to make a change.

The intersection in question is 116th Street at Fishers Pointe Boulevard, where traffic is thick but no left-turn signal exists to help drivers who need to get through.

City leaders say there are currently no plans to add a left turn signal to that intersection because they haven’t received any official complaints.

The city filed RTV6’s call as a complaint and says they welcome any other drivers who have concerns, complaints or suggestions on how to make traffic run smoothly to submit them online.

The engineering department says they are also planning to study the intersection in question to see if changes need to be made.
