FISHERS, Ind. -- A Fishers police officer is in critical condition after an off-duty crash on Saturday morning.

The Fishers Police Department says officer Binh Dennis and his wife, Mary, were both injured in the motorcycle crash. Mary was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and Binh was flown to Indianapolis in critical condition.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, Fishers FOP Lodge #199 said they have seen some progress in the officer's condition and will continue to remain at the hospital with him.

"Binh remains in critical condition and his long-term prognosis is unknown," the Fishers Police Department said in a release sent out Monday afternoon. "According to Binh's medical team, the next few days are critical as they continue to closely monitor his condition."

"We continue to pray for him and support his family,” Fishers Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Tom Weger said in an email Saturday.

The details of the crash have not been released and the Fishers Police Department says it remains under investigation.
