FISHERS, Ind. -- Fishers Police released a statement after a suspicious activity report Friday afternoon at Brooks School Park.
Fishers police said in the statement that the original report was reported as suspicious activity and a possible abduction attempt.
After an initial investigation, officers determined none of the reported suspicious people had criminal intent and were not a threat, police said in the statement.
"This incident serves as an example of the importance of immediately notifying the police whenever suspicious activity is observed," police said in the statement. "We are thankful to the original reporting person for not delaying reporting and giving our officers the best chance to quickly respond, located/identify all individuals involved and resolve this matter safely."
