HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. -- Hamilton Southeastern Schools canceled its scheduled community meeting Thursday after two teachers were found dead.
Wednesday evening, the district hosted a meeting about redistricting, due to a 13th elementary school opening in 2019. About 260 people attended the Wednesday night meeting.
A second meeting was planned for Thursday, but it's been canceled, according to a Facebook post from the district. It has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 6-8 p.m.
"We need to give our full attention to the healing of our students and staff members as we process the loss of two longtime educators," the Facebook post read.
Classes in two HSE schools were canceled Thursday, after a man and a woman were found dead in a house near the intersection of Dorster Street and Pennington Avenue.
