Deadly crash involving semi, vehicle closes part of I-69 in Fishers

FISHERS — A deadly crash involving a semi and a vehicle has closed part of I-69 in Fishers.

The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-69 near 106th Street.

Fishers Police Department officers at the scene say at least one person was killed when a vehicle rear-ended a semi on the interstate. The driver of the semi was not injured.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Ernesto Moon, 43.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Fishers Police Department.
