FISHERS, Ind. -- A small plane made a hard landing at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport in Fishers Tuesday evening.
According to airport officials, the twin engine Cesssna plane landed on the runway without landing gear. The pilot was the only person on board and was able to get off safely.
Authorities say the pilot made an emergency call while en route to the airport.
Airport Police and Operations is handling the situation.
