Hamilton Southeastern freshman hit by car during cross country practice

FISHERS, Ind. -- A Hamilton Southeastern High School student was struck by a vehicle during cross country practice Monday afternoon. 

Hamilton Southeastern Schools says the freshman was running in the 12000 block of Olio Road during practice when he was hit. 

A school spokesperson says the teen was "alert" and with his family at the hospital. 

Fishers Police have not released any information at this time.
