NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- The person who reported a bomb threat to Rascal Flatts' Noblesville concert called as many as five times, members of the band said this week.

Members of the country band discussed the scary situation to ET Canada, where the Aug. 9 concert at Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center ended abruptly due to a security concern.

"It’s scary because apparently, they found it credible enough that the person had called like four times and it was supposed to go off at 10:44. And at 10:44 he called and said. ‘It’s 10:44’ and hung up,” Gary LeVox said. “Anything can happen at any time. And you know we’re in a public place with, you know, all of our fans. And, you know, there’s just lunatics out there that just want to do something, you know, to get attention.”

No arrests have been made from the threat.

“At that point though security did a great job,” guitarist Joe Don Rooney said. "I mean cause they didn’t come out and say there’s been a bomb threat and people running and start stampeding each other. They just said, ‘There’s been a security threat’ and we need to exit the facility as soon as possible."

Caitlyn Conlon had front-row tickets for the concert. She said at the beginning of the concert, everyone felt safe, and one of the band members said to the crowd, "With everything going on in the world today, we are Americans first before anything else. We are all one and just forget everything going on and let’s all become one tonight.”

Later in the concert, the keyboard player started to play another song, then abruptly stopped, she said.

Conlon said they were told by security that they had to leave right away. She said there was a lot of speculation about what exactly happened, and that the band didn't get a chance to play its biggest songs.
