NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- A proposed development project in Noblesville is taking a big step forward.
The Noblesville Common Council approved an agreement Tuesday to build "The Levinson" by a 7-1 vote.
The $24.3 million plan includes apartments, commercial space and a garage in downtown Noblesville.
The Levinson is named after one of the pioneer families in Noblesville, S. O. Levinson. He was a nationally known attorney who donated his family’s former homestead to the city in 1938.
The project is bordered by Eighth and Ninth streets, Maple Avenue and the alley south of Conner Street. Construction is expected to start in March.
