NOBLESVILLE — Scotty’s Brewhouse employees say they will be getting paid after all.
When the Scotty’s Brewhouse in Noblesville closed suddenly earlier this month employees were told by email that they wouldn’t be paid.
Pots and Pans, who operated the business issued this statement: "The owner would sweep funds out of the operating bank account, preventing Pots and Pans from accessing those funds. Pots and Pans' access to those funds would have allowed for payroll to be paid in the course of doing business."
But after several of those employees reached out to the media for help, the company decided to reverse their decision.
Jamarkus McCloud says he believes RTV6’s story made the difference.
“I believe the segment definitely put pressure on them,” McCloud said. “I feel like they did the right thing. Even though they weren’t obligated to do that whatsoever.”
Brewhouse Noble West LLC owned the restaurant, but it was operated by Pots and Pans Production.
