WESTFIELD — Westfield police say aggressive driving is believed to be the cause of a fatal crash Friday night.
Westfield Police department officers and emergency responders were called around 8:35 p.m. to the area of East State Road 32 and Willow Creek Way on the report of people injured in a vehicle crash. When they arrived, they located a three vehicle crash.
Anthony Harrington, 33, of Kokomo, died at the scene, Westfield Police Department officer Michael Wheeler said in a press release.
Witnesses told police a vehicle, driven by Harrington, was driving his SUV over the posted speed limit, Wheeler said. A passenger in the vehicle was also severely injured.
Several other people were transported to the hospital and have since been released.
