Cat dumped in Franklin found scared and confused, but safe

UPDATE: Johnson County Community Cats reported the cat that was dumped in Franklin has been found.

"The cat is safe with one of our fosters. He is scared, confused, and stressed but otherwise okay," the organization posted on Facebook. "The case is being investigated and we hope to see the individuals responsible face the consequences for their actions."

FRANKLIN — A Johnson County organization is looking for a cat that is shown in a video being dumped in an alley.

Johnson County Community Cats posted a video on Facebook of someone driving a vehicle into an alley north of the Boys and Girls Club in Franklin, stopping, opening the passenger door and putting a gray cat on the ground before driving away. The cat walked away after nearly getting hit, and the organization is asking for help in finding it.
